Anyone using a smart host in the cluster for email? I’m think of mail.baby or smtp2go. Interested to know how you find it and easy the domain verification for clients is? I wouldn’t want to manually add and verify each domain, especially on a reseller node!

psybox I'm using mail.baby. They don't require domain verification. No issues.

psybox Yes. They give you your SMTP credentials, you set them in your smart host configuration and that's it.

I believe mailchannels works that way too.

mendozal not liking mail channels pricing! I might give mail baby a go then, thought we might need to modify spf/dns or mail server settings or something. Do you set this on all your application servers (email role), or are you running dedicated email server?

psybox I only have one dedicated mail server for now.

You'll need to add mailbaby's info into your clients SPF record and as far as I remember that's all. I have the SPF setting it in the DNS template.

They use mailchannels in the background for some emails. But it doesn't change the price.
