mysqladmin status
This will give you something useful along these lines:
Uptime: 40210 Threads: 35 Questions: 3147746 Slow queries: 0 Opens: 138212 Open tables: 2000 Queries per second avg: 78.282
This is some very basic mysql stats, but it may help you pick up on a few obvious things. Currently Enhance does give you access via the panel to my.cnf where you can make some changes. But, you need to know what you are doing.
