It'll be great if we can actually style the background color of the Navigation Sidebar (#dashboard-spine) or have it adopt the "Color: Brand" hex code that is currently used mainly for buttons only.
Alternatively just let us include our own CSS file to overwrite any colors that we want in the panel.
