Hello guys,
I'm new here and I'm a total newbie with Enhance CP. I'm still migrating my old structure to the new one, so we are not yet totally productive.
As far as I saw until now, I can tell that I love EnhanceCP a lot. It has more or less everything, in a very easy way (for admins and more important for customers).
There are still some things I'd like to see:
- DNS support for CAA records is missing
- It's not possible to assign different PHP versions to different domains under the same website. I know that it's so by design, but it's quite annoying for a customer that buys hosting for multiple domains that need to run all the same PHP version.
- The "DNS Only" Package with no mail or http is working with all the needed containers for a complete website with all the services. Not so resources friendly...
- At present you can limit the number of mailboxes per website and the max size for each mailbox. I didn't find an option to set a max number of mailboxes and set a max size for the mailboxes globally. So let's say you can setup 10 mailboxes with max 50GB global mail storage
- Nice to see that there's a WP automatic installer and that in the future we'll find Joomla and Magento, but there's plenty of other things that should be considered. Something like Drupal, Sugar, etc.
- Customers (and admins) should be able to see the logs directly in the panel, perhaps in a "terminal" in real time. With logs I mean http, php and mail (in and out) logs
- Backups are working but with a very limited feature set. For example S3 backups are only full... Synology for example is able to upload partial backups to S3 storage. OneDrive/Google/Dropbox Backups should be also implemented in my opinion
- I didn't find a way to install custom php extensions
- I didn't find documentation about SRS for mail forwarders
- I would love to see a plugin for the PowerDNS API in order to use an existant Pdns structure
This is not a full list, this is just what I find important and not so urgent.
As stated at the beginning, I'm totally new here and I've a lot to learn about the product. If some kind guy would like to drop a couple of lines and tell me that I'm blind because some things already exist, I'll be glad ;-)
But as far as I can understand (I've read some posts here), I'm more than happy to see that the Devs here are listening ! That's something totally new to me ! I like it ;-)
