OLS on main panel

Just reinstalled Enhance for testing and selected OLS for the web server for the main panel, but the /api gives a 404 error, thereby making it impossible to add servers. Anybody else had this issue?

Hi "quicklookup", I also like "xyzulu" use the OpenLiteSpeed (OLS) web server and I can tell you that I have never had any problems nor the error you are experiencing. It is not a normal error and also I recommend you to report it to Enhance's excellent support service and they will surely be able to help you solve the problem.

Also I wanted to tell you that unfortunately as of today on Enhance Control Panel you cannot configure the OpenLiteSpeed (OLS) Control Panel because the changes you would make would not be persistent.

I use OLS .. but I don’t get a 404.
Maybe switch to Apache and the back again?

xyzulu Switching to Apache resolves the 404 error but switching back to OLS I get it again.

/api will give a 404, /api/status should return ready. The issue onboarding servers is unlikely to be related to OLS.

The most common cause is CloudFlare. If you have the Cloudflare proxy on, they will often serve a challenge to unknown visitors and the onboarding script obviously can't solve this challenge. The solution is to disable the proxy whilst onboarding servers or whitelist the IP of your app servers in CloudFlare.

Other possibilities are that your app server does not have a working DNS resolver or there is some routing issue between the app server and the control panel server.

Adam the issue appeared to be my SSL cert. I did not have the intermediate/full chain at first (just uploaded the cert and key) once I added the intermediate to the chain it worked. Is that supposed to happen? Of course since my browser wasn't throwing any errors I didn't think about it at first

Your local system or browser might have different trusted root certificates to your Ubuntu server, it could be that it directly trusts the sub-CA. I'm glad you got it resolved.
