It would be helpful if users could activate Plus Addressing (email+plusaddress@domain.tld) for email accounts and forwarding. Perhaps this could even be activated by default if it does not have any disadvantages.
This is particularly helpful if you need a new email address quickly. For example, you can not only quickly test an application with different addresses, but also better filter incoming emails (e.g. support tickets).
As an additional feature, it would also be helpful in this context if folders were automatically created with the name of the plus address. Possibly similar to cPanel:
