Migrations from cPanel / WordPress / Word Fence

After migrating a few sites today, it looks like the paths for a WordPress site running the Word Fence plugin don't update.

These are within the .htaccess file and wordfence-waf.php.

I would suggest that all paths matching the old cPanel username in .htaccess should be altered automatically (not just for Wordpress) but these two files specifically for such sites need to be checked because the volume of sites running WP and possibly this plugin mean migrations won't be smooth and very time consuming for thousands of sites.

It's a good suggestion and I think it should be possible.

i think this also happens when migratin from others panels to other panels, i have always had to manually fix, the lines that wordfence adds.

There's a bit more to this @Adam.
Our cPanel servers use Cloudlinux/LS. cPanel sets a specific PHP session save path in php.ini/.htaccess files.

When sites move, this breaks them until that line is removed.

This may be another thing to check for in cPanel backups and to remove accordingly.
