Node.js was first scheduled for December and was recently moved to June.
I have a client who asked me in January for a Ghost install and I installed it on new VPS that I pay for.
Is there a chance we will actually get Node.js in June because this is starting to become urgent?

Nothing is guaranteed but we have all the framework in place to support node.js officially and I'm confident it will be available in June.

That would be awesome. As for me I am still using cPanel because of Node and Python support.

    @Adam
Node.js has already been moved down with no clear idea when it will be released.

nsevimov Yes this can be disappointing, but re-read what he's said and then look at the roadmap again. There is BIG core changes to the system being done. Once these are completed, tested and released, getting node.js support in shouldn't be as time consuming. Some of us have been waiting over a year for features to come in we need. I have faith they'll come when it's right and not when we want. Until then we'll all have to just work around it. Enhance is still my preferred platform over any hot garbage like Cyberpanel, or even better products like DirectAdmin for that matter.

We are also awaiting NodeJS support. This is a crucial feature to us. Currently we set up some Cloud servers and deploy the projects manually for our customers.

Yes, node.js is crucial for many of us.
I currently have a server outside enhance awaiting final integration.

Probably will be after August but these are just guesses might not be this year.

I already have a few clients who pay for shared hosting but get a managed VPS due to not having Node.js on the shared plans.

Basically this is my main panel but I am already considering the idea of having another panel to use in such situations.

@Adam Do you have any guesses when we'll be able to use node.js in Enhance?

A similar case happened here. I have a client who has a Node.js site, but we could not accommodate it within his package. So, I had to arrange an additional VPS, which is causing me an extra server bill.

@Adam, can you please prioritize the Node.js? That will open new doors.

+1 we'd like node JS support too.

+1 from us. Customers are really asking for it, as cPanel/DirectAdmin supports it.
Will start loosing customers, if this isn't implemented soon.

I just migrated all my sites to enhance and realised that I can't run the one site that runs node :/

Yes, I am already losing money. Actually, we are not directly involved in the hosting business; we are a web development agency and provide managed services. So far, we have lost two clients, totaling $750 in recurring revenue, and around 20 potential clients.

Shaijee Use another "panel" to host your Node.js sites for now.. don't lose customers.

I was reading down through this, and realized that it is easy to "move to Enhance" and not realize something is "missing"

However, that is our fault, not the fault of the Enhance team for not yet implementing some feature that we require at the 11th hour. It simply means we did not do our due diligence investigating the platform.

I made a similar mistake with our initial migrations (and we have FAR fewer customers than some of the other companies represented). Once I realized my mistake, I stopped migrations, and only placed new customers on Enhance. I then waited until August of this year to migrate my remaining hosted customers.

Some of us are fortunate in cases like node JS because we own and operate our own infrastructure, so it is quite easy to spin up a vm to accommodate their needs. I think it is always a good idea to have a robust plan with alternatives to help meet those cases.

So, even though I am quite happy with Enhance, and looking forward to added functionality, I too was guilty of jumping before fully investigating. It happens, we are busy.

8Dweb only placed new customers on Enhance

We did the same thing! All new customers are hosted on Enhance, but our older ones are still on the DirectAdmin servers for now. Once Enhance rolls out the DirectAdmin import tool, we’ll start moving them over.
