"Hard delete after" option

There's a setting in "/settings/platform" called "Hard delete after".

Does this setting affect only to websites? Or does it also affect soft deleted:

For example, if I soft delete a subscription via API with ?force=false, does it get hard deleted after X days?

I'm trying to determine if the billing system should soft or hard delete subscriptions on service cancelation.

If the deletion automation doesn't delete soft-deleted subscriptions, I may want to hard delete them.
