Most often when we admin sites we use the email as the username to keep things simple, but enhance.com is blocking for this. Could we please allow email in the user field also? (WordPress do support it)

Me too, I am used to use the email also as a username.

Usernames should also allow emails to be used. It is very common for this.
We will add support for email usernames ASAP.
