How to enable SRS for v11?

I can't find the way to enable SRS for v11. I though it was automatically enabled since this release note: "Sender rewriting for forwarded messages."

But I tested with a forwarder and it was going out as is.

It seems to be enabled, but only working if not using a Smarthost.

Yes. using mail.baby. Sending through webmail/IMAP client works, but forwarders/phpmailer all get rejected by mail.baby with:

550 This message was classified as rSPAM and may not be delivered

I am.
If I send an email from gmail to a forward address on Enhance that resends to the email to another gmail address, using a smarthost, Gmail sees the email as being sent from gmail to gmail but from an IP that is not authorized to send "from" gmail.
