As per the title. When upgrading any Enhance release to the next version, many files and/or packages remain in place and are not removed during the Enhance installation process. Without patient and time-consuming manual "cleanup" efforts, all these now-unused and non-functional files and/or packages simply accumulate and occupy valuable server space, much like weeds in a real garden. It's somewhat surprising that this still occurs, considering that most software packages perform this as a default action.
