I got a problem that just got handed to me, not sure how to solve this.
I have a customer "John", website and domain is john.com
I have another customer "Sally", website and domain is sally.com
John doesn't want to use my e-mail hosting, he is using Google Workspace.
Sally use my e-mail hosting and send/receives mail from my servers.
When Sally sends an email to John, she receives "E-mail returned to sender" with error code 550 5.1.1, which means the user does not exist. This is because Sally's outgoing email server or DNS (in my Enhance stack) thinks that mail@john.com is hosted on my email server.
John has the e-mail role assigned to his website/account, but he use different MX records at his DNS registrar pointing to Google Workspace.
What is the solution to this, is it enough to remove the MX records for john.com on my servers? Can I "unassign" e-mail for John (if I have to)?
