Use Restic or Duplicity as the back-end for backup

Hi,

These are the finest backup tools available on Linux imo. Being able to handle large scale backups, incremental backups, deduplication, out of box support for multiple cloud providers and solid encryption. A GUI based on top of these tools should office for most use cases.

Enhance currently includes a fairly comprehensive backup system based on rsync and btrfs snapshots. The next thing in our roadmap is to add support for S3 and S3-compatible storage. Other tools could potentially be integrated in the future.

Ah! rysnc. Nice! Should be able to support large of external services. But iirc there is no encryption support with it. I am yet to try btrfs snapshots but I can see you guys saving a hell lot of space with it.
