web server roles missing after reboot.

after reboot the roles are missing and all sites are not being served. main Control panel shows 2 roles but when clicked states 0 roles. Anyone have similar issue and how to fix them ?

This is normal as things start up.
After a min or 2, you should be seeing your servers connected correctly. How many servers do you have? Do all of them have missing roles, or just a few?

Thanks for kind reply. its over an hour . theres about 10 websites in it . Only this particular application/database server.

Did you reboot the dashboard server or the server with the 10 websites on it?

Check connectivity (test it via ssh for example) between the 2 servers. Also, you could try to restart orchd on your dashboard server using: docker restart orchd

Which web server type was this server running? Have you looked at this server via ssh to see if docker is running? Rebooted this server?

You may wish to re-install a web server on this server using:
appcd-cli 127.0.0.1 change-webserver apache
replace 127.0.0.1 with the IP address of the server with the missing web server role.

Alternatively, open a ticket with Enhance support and I am sure they will help you.

Thanks for kind reply but Error: Error { kind: Internal, msg: "No such file or directory (os error 2)" }. Submitted a ticket earlier. hope they respond soon.

Sounds like a communication error between you control server and the other server. Are you sure you can send traffic both ways? Not just port 22 either, others will need to be open.

Our enhance best support adam fixed the issue. Documenting here to help for future enhance lover.

So one of my staff accidentally install some packages which installed apache. It conflicts port 80 which cause docker not to run. Disable apache and rerun the docker.
