Raising this as a question here rather than as a feature request (for now) to see if anyone else is doing this or has thought of it, but I suspect I’m probably a bit unique in this way.
I want to split the hosting of mail accounts across multiple servers (which I can already do), and in some cases I’d like to spread accounts within the same domain over multiple servers. I don’t care about the delivery aspect of the mail as I have that technically covered in other ways, but, in Enhance the mail location is defined at the domain level and not configurable at the mailbox level.
What are everyone’s thoughts on this? I’m well aware this probably doesn’t fit with 99% of hosting companies and therefore not worthy of a feature request, but, I’m in that 1% and it’s detrimental in a few ways for me being restricted to having every mail account for a domain on a single server.
