Am I making the right move?

Hi there

I host a number of client websites, currently on a serverpilot setup. Most of them are WordPress but there are also some bespoke PHP/laravel sites. I am migrating away from SP and was looking for a setup that offered true site isolation, hence enhance.

However I am not particularly interested in offering CP access to clients (there may be the odd one) as I am largely the developer and host for the clients.

So far the setup seems okay, but am I barking up the wrong tree by going for a setup that is largely geared for larger scale hosting solutions?

No, you'll be absolutely fine. At the end of the day it's a website control panel that makes management of websites easy, you don't need to give clients access to the control panel. You can have an Enhance estate as small or as large as you would like, from having all roles (control panel, web server, database server, dns, email) all on one server or split it out to as many servers as you would like.

Enhance is perfect for both use cases.

I host sites I build and 99% of the customers don't care about control panel access. Enhance makes things way easier and the isolation is trustworthy. As a developer myself I miss github integration but that's my only complaint.

A few things that sets Enhance apart in my opinion:

You can spread out all your sites across multiple servers/providers and still manage it all in one place.
Sites are isolated from each other even if they belong to the same account.
Support is free and better than most paid support you would get from competitors.
Planned releases are usually late lol

Just wanted to chime in as I run what sounds like a similar business. I come from a SysAdmin/DevOps background, so found it natural to set up a proper web infra for myself that can scale as required. There's a bit more 'tech responsibility', but if set-up correctly -- shouldn't be an issue.

I do not typically provide any sort of CP access either.
