From Enhance documentation:
"For enhanced compatability and full .htaccess support we recommend running the APACHE or LiteSpeed webserver kind. NGINX and OpenLiteSpeed do not support .htaccess and will require manual intervention."
But OpenLiteSpeed supports .htaccess? I run aaPanel servers with OLS and .htaccess support works.
Am I missing something?

It's just outdated information. Enhance implemented automatic reload of OLS when .htaccess changes are made.
It seems that rewrites work, but this does not work:
Require all denied
Looks like OLS indeed does not have full support for .htaccess, only LiteSpeed does.
Ah ok, I thought you meant does OLS with Enhance support .htaccess.
But yes, you're correct in that OLS only supports a fraction of the amount of .htaccess functions that Litespeed supports. It's not a limitation of Enhance, but OLS
Is there a way to check the current web server used and eventually change it?
