This is not a conversation about Enhance itself. It's a problem with email service as a whole, as spam have crippled it.
My customers will demand that their email gets delivered, and they are right.
Having tried to build and maintain an self-hosted smtp server for years, the deliverability was mediocre at best, even with large efforts. As soon as I switched to Sendgrid (good deliverability) and Postmark (excellent deliverability) afterwards, all problems went away. For me, services like Postmark is the only way.
This of course raises the following questions:
- Which service?
- At what cost? Do I absorb it or do clients pay it?
- How is it integrated with Enhance in an automatic way?
Any thoughts are appreciated.
I wonder what others do to solve the smtp issue.
