Reseller total number of websites missing?

Hi,
Example:

An [admin] package that allows reseller features has a limit of 10 websites

But this 10 website limit is not applied to the reseller's account globally.

It is applied either to his own account (one level lower than admin)
OR
if he creates his own packages to sell, he can limit them up to 10 websites each, but he can create an unlimited number of packages.

The parent [admin] package does not even count the websites that are in the reseller's customer accounts.
If the reseller has 2 websites under his own account and 20 websites under his customers, the parent [admin] package shows a usage of 2 websites.

Am i missing something?

wav3front This is concerning. It sounds like reseller accounts are just clones of the main admin account, as it behaves the same way.

Can @Adam clarify?

I'm courting a large (for us) reseller to bring on, and when they were a client in the past were were on cPanel, so both they and we knew how things worked. This is a new platform that I'm still learning and I am concerned on how things are different compared to what we're used to with 20 yrs of cPanel experience.

I had a second brand as a Reseller of my own main org to separate concerns but share resources.
It was extremely limiting, specially in the email settings department and other settings, that I ended up migrating it to the main org to have more control.

I think this feature needs many levels of improvement.

When a reseller subscribes a customer to a package, it consumes his own subscription resources. A reseller can't abuse the system to create unlimited websites.

Yes but the reseller's customers websites do not count into the parent package created by the admin.

They do because the resource is consumed at the point the subscription is created. For example if you create a reseller with 100 websites and they create 2 customers with 10 websites each, the reseller will have 80 websites remaining to use themselves or assign to customers.

If the parent admin package offers 2GB Memory limit, is this applied per child website (reseller -> customer -> website) or for the entire account of the reseller?

The limits now are per website, no matter its a reseller or customer.
