8Dweb You're absolutely right about hosting platforms being complicated, the unparalleled support, reliable backups, and stability. I definitely didn't think it would take a couple of months to ship v12.
However, Plesk is behemoth that was first released in 2001, has undergone a couple of ownership changes, and most importantly, many of it's features had to be created and added as Plesk, web-hosting, security, e-mail, and the internet evolved as a whole.
Almost all of us here have the technical capacity to handle full server-level backups, but that's not really the point.
Don't get me wrong, Enhance is an absolutely fantastic product, it has come a very long way, and the people working on it have been great to interact with.
But when you're making a shiny new product like this in a mature industry, you kind of already know what people will want, what they've been using, what is technically required, and what they will need. The roadmap has already effectively been written for you, it's just how those features are implemented that is different.
Like @pratik_asabe said, so many of the "small ground level features" are missing, and that's what makes it harder to fully jump over.
