i'd agree with @webdig.
if you look through the entire list of softaculous apps, there's not really that many that you're likely to see used.
i'd reckon around 26 of them..
wordpress, joomla, phpbb, mybb, laravel, drupal, typo3, oscommerce, prestashop, opencart, magento, bbpress, codeigniter, bootstrap, cakephp, symfony, moodle, owncloud, nextcloud, suitecrm, sugarcrm, roundcube, rainloop, osticket, dokuwiki, phpmyadmin
4 of which they wouldn't need softaculous for anyway, since wordpress and joomla can already be installed via the panel, and roundcube and phpmyadmin are already available to customers (unless they want completely private instances)
even then, probably more than 95% of installs would be for wordpress.
of the others listed, some shouldn't even be considered for a shared hosting server...
and for a dedicated server, many of the others, it's just as easy, if not more so, to just install them using a single line docker command.
