Certs do not auto renew when force https is enabled

on nginx certs do not auto renew if force https is on.

We also need to set an email for certs so if auto renew fails we know 🙂

The nginx config needs to be adjusted and we cannot edit config files properly. this is pain.

I have no issue with Nginx + Force https + autorenew, are you sure it's not another issue, like DNS, CDN or some custom Nginx config?

Just had a client come to me saying there site was down. Not good as they are high paying.

Turned out the SSL had expired three days ago and it did not auto renew. Force SSL was enabled. DNS pointing from Cloudflare.

Does enhance send out emails for expiring SSLs?(I never get any emails from enhance, the enhance email is blocked or something)

@rdbf thanks for the feedback. did more digging ..

i just found out that enhance renews the certificate 3 days before expiry (according to docs) i dunno why all the suspense leaving the cert 3 days before expiry.

i had to manually renew 7 days before ... as i was getting hammered that my cert is going to expire.

i have also experienced this on multiple occasions with a handful (not all) sites. very curious if anyone can get to the bottom of the root cause of this
