yes, email services do make things easier as you can just add the details and dont need to worry about the many headaches that go with setup of servers, and blocking spam etc. we use brevo which is very similar, but have also used sendgrid and many others. you can also use the details provided by your mail provider (for 365/gmail easiest way to find is via webmail settings, although these will be limited to the username rather than *@[domain]).
i havent bothered in years, but would like a simple transactional setup vi enhance role, but one for down the line as outsourcing email keeps my life stress free ;-)
