I wouldn’t recommend full system backups for sub-servers at all. Full system or snapshot backups are only suitable for the main control panel. Restoring a full snapshot on sub-servers can cause serious issues and inconsistencies. We’ve tried it before, and it led to a ton of problems that required manually editing the main control panel database! , trust me, it’s a huge pain.
Instead, take advantage of Enhance’s power. Always deploy the main control panel on a decent VPS with a provider that offers reliable full snapshot backups. For sub-servers, you can use as many bare-metal servers as you like. If one fails, just deploy a new one and restore backups in minutes and you’re good to go.
