Hello Community,
I need your help, please. I am currently unable to log in to my hosting panel, even though my websites are functioning correctly. When I visit the login link, the panel interface loads, but clicking on the "Login" button has no effect. Additionally, I see a message that states:
“The hosting platform is currently initialising servers. Performance and functionality may be temporarily affected.”
The only potential issue I can think of is the server's disk space usage. After investigating, I discovered that the /var/local/enhance/containers directory is consuming a large amount of storage—around 44GB in total, with multiple subdirectories (each around 11GB in size). Specifically:
/usr takes 4.3GB
/var takes 4.0GB
/opt takes 2.6GB
The largest files are located in the /var/local/enhance/containers/ directory, particularly within one subdirectory:
/var/local/enhance/containers/5b80cfad-c3ef-472f-97bf-180bc8684991
In this directory:
/merged is taking 11GB.
/usr, /var, and /opt inside this subdirectory consume the majority of the space.
I am worried that this lack of available space might be preventing the panel from functioning correctly. I have tried basic cleanup steps like removing logs and unused packages, but it hasn’t resolved the issue.
Could you please help me understand:
How to further clean up unnecessary files in this directory safely?
Whether the disk space issue could be causing the panel to malfunction?
If there are other potential solutions to this problem?
Thank you so much for your time and guidance! I really appreciate your help.
