OS for Enhance...

Hello everyone 😉

please let me know which OS you found Enhance is friendly with?! I'm not a big fan of Ubuntu, I'm a Debian, Alma or CloudLinux lover...

I want to move away from cPanel, and I'm looking for another solution.

Enhance currently works only and exclusively on Ubuntu. The best choice is Ubuntu 24.04 LTS.

Support for Alma or Rocky would be amazing but I understand it adds more to the testing and development of the project

enhost In my opinion, the Enhance panel should support a maximum of 2 OS in the future, e.g., Ubuntu and AlmaLinux. Unfortunately, providing support for multiple systems is unnecessary and problematic. I have nothing against Ubuntu either, as I like it, but there are also people who prefer AlmaLinux 🙂

Hi, I believe that the two best Operating Systems for Enhance Control Panel are Ubuntu which at the moment is the only O.S. supported and I hope that they will also soon add support for AlmaLinux obviously with the priority on fixing bugs and releasing new features that have already been requested for a long time by the entire large and splendid Enhance Control Panel Community.

A huge thank you to the entire Enhance Control Panel Developer Team for the fast and continuous release of v. 12.x of Enhance Control Panel, they worked all weekend and for this a huge thank you must be given to them, you are number one, the best support service I have ever seen, great.

I'm also a big fan of the Almalinux/Cloudlinux suite.

But if cPanel has taken +15 years to support a second OS (Ubuntu), I don't think it's in the best interest of the small enhance team to put themselves under the pressure of a second OS to test with.

bocagua Yes, in my opinion, it is also very distant and currently unnecessary. It's better to focus on new features.
