Delete and reinstall server - SHN can't be deleted or moved

I am a new user running v12 on a new install.
I was adding a backup server but there were issues with the drive configuration so I reinstalled the server software but now I can't delete the old server instance with the same IP because I can't fully delete the server or restore the SHN domain for the server.

How do I manage this?

Not, unfortunately. It's like eating your meal and then afterwards wanting to take a photo of it.

Your cluster doesn't know the server is gone, just that it went offline. And whatever is now on that IP doesn't have the correct trust relationship to go online in the cluster and take up that role again.

Your control panel needs to communicate with that server in order to agree to drop out of the cluster by decommissioning and then deleting, before actually reinstalling the server and software and officially rejoining.

fizzpopmedia Decommission first, then delete. You can't delete the site if the server is not decommissioned.

You'll have to open a ticket. The ability to move/delete the control panel role is not yet possible as far as I am aware. Of course it can be done via Postgres, but best to allow Enhance support to explain how to do that in your case.
