I have a client that wants to load a index.html for a coming soon page but have the WordPress website in the background.
Is there anyway to achieve this with a server running OLS

Sulli86 maybe with .htacces file adding a line or two could be achieved I think but no idea how

Maybe they should just use a coming-soon plugin? Theres many and they're pretty easy to use. That or they can file manager and replace the index file as needed depending if they want to work on the site or have the HTML page load... Big ole waste of time.
What rubbish and huge waste of time, just use 'ASE' plugin and enable maintenance mode! or use .htaccess by doing some research before posting this such a NON-technical thread..
