I realize many of us have relied on Google or S3 on other panels, but I have found that a more local backup solution, that is then off-loaded to some other remote system for long term is best. In this regard, I prefer the Enhance backup solution. It has allowed us to give R1soft backup that we use on Plesk servers notice, and frankly, the Enhance backup is significantly more reliable.
Once again, we are in a position of having multiple data centers and dark fiber connections, so for us, the Enhance backup option is simply a better fit.
If there was an option for the Enhance backup servers to offload to Google, M$, or S3 for 3rd level backups, that could be helpful for many smaller hosts who do not have the infrastructure to keep a final disaster recovery copy. I would not want to have what Plesk currently does, however, since it bogs down the actual server, requires massive space in the dumps directory, and has been very unreliable for us on CL installs.
