Add Request Let’s Encrypt SSL for FTP

Hello, can we have under Request let’s encrypt for mail also:
Request Let’s Encrypt for FTP please

Also I prefer when I connect with FTP to say “customer domain.com” not Pure FTPd etc… on the certificate…
As well secure connection, to allow us using FTP at all…

SSL certificates, including those from Let’s Encrypt, are tied to domain names, not specific services like FTP or mail independently. When you request a Let’s Encrypt certificate for a domain (e.g., customerdomain.com), it can be used to secure multiple services—such as web, mail, and FTP—running on that domain. However, the certificate itself is validated and issued for the domain, not for individual protocols or services like "FTP" or "mail" separately. This means there’s no such thing as a distinct "Let’s Encrypt certificate for FTP" or "for mail"—it’s just one certificate for the domain that can be applied across supported services.

why i cant use Secure FTP conncetion with my lets encrypt ssl then>?
why i am seeing anytime i try to connect to ftp server Pure ftp certificate instead of the customer domain certificate ?????

We just ran in to this problem, yesterday (March 19). Our Web Dev team brought a new customer, and no matter what they did, they could not connect to our Enhance APP servers (we tried a couple) with ftp and SSL.

I have also had this problem about a week before we upgraded from 11.04 to 12.29....

In this case, that customer was more than willing to move to FTP over SSH, so problem solved...

Two tickets in short order makes me think that ftp.<domain>.<tld> is not being included in the LE query... am I missing something?

The ability to use the website SSL for FTPS (in place of the current self signed certificate) is coming, we just need a little more time.
