403 on subdomains after update to v12

Hello,
After upgrade to v12 we get 403 for a sudomain.
My setup:

example.gr: my main site, worpress, served by /public_html
web.example.gr: my subdomain site, laravel, served by /folder/public

Also tried to add a new site, as web1.example.gr in order to install again the laravel to save time.
I change the document root (to follow the /public dir) but i get 404 errors

You will have issues with laravel when you restore backups or migrate the website, that's because enhance doesn't correctly set permissions for symlink folders outside of the doc root .
It's a known bug since 2 years ago , correct the permissions and you will be fine .

Check that the permissions are correct, especially the symlinks. I did see something about this a few weeks ago on the forums here, so you could try a search.

The web server in version 12.x runs under the user www-data. The document root needs to be owned by the www-data group.

The v12-upgrade tool will set the correct ownership on all known document roots however it won't change any of the parent directories - if you manually changed ownerships on these directories in the past you will need to replicate that.

It also won't follow a symlink. If your document root is symlinked, you should change the group ownership of the symlink target to www-data.

Adam same issue exist on 11 , makes migrating anything than wordpress and in some cases restoring backups or pushing staging websites a nightmare, this system needs a reworkas I recommended in another post
