After 12.0.30 orchd "Licence status Unknown"?

Anyone else seeing this in their orchd log after the update to 12.0.30?

Mar 20 04:02:34 controller orchd[1006]: 2025-03-20T09:02:34.114130Z ERROR ThreadId(06) orchd::core::auth: Access denied due to Licence status Unknown

When I see this, the panel goes all wonky. WHMCS has storage settings problems with directory permissions, the Enhance module won't allow provisioning/suspension/termination or clients to log in to the panel from WHMCS, and things like creating directories in the panel file manager, changing primary domain names for a website, toggling on Redis, basically everything in the panel is failing with errors.

Restarting orchd returns us to sanity.

Did you whitelist all your server IPs in cPFence after upgrading to v12? If not, please do so , this is very important since the new version of cPFence now protects IPv6, and starting from v12, Enhance DNS servers listen on IPv6 by default. We’ve seen that skipping the whitelist can cause a lot of issues. We sent an email about this to all users.

Ah so that could be a error from a cPFence server through the orchd log, since the controller doesn't have cPFence yet (but will soon.) I haven't been able to even upgrade cPFence on all servers yet, but I'll get on this now.

Yep, I'd already upgraded a few servers to the new cPFence after the update, but now upgrading all and whitelisting all as well. We'll see if that's the resolution. Thanks!
