I am so confused right now with what services should or should not be installed/running/configured on the servers for each Role. This could be a hangover from upgrading from v11 to v12 but I am trying to get on top of what is and what is not required anymore.
We seem to have Application+Database only role servers that have postfix, opendkim, rspamd and srs_milter installed and running (and no, we have never installed the Mail role on these servers) and then we have Backup role servers that have screenshotd installed and running.
Now I know there is or was a postfix drop in replacement on the Application servers that did not have the Email role installed, is that still the case or can we disable and stop all of the email services? What is the drop in replacement called?
Is it ok to assume that the following roles should have their associated services enabled and running but the rest can be stopped and disabled?
