What we really appreciate about Enhance is that it gives us a solid, modern foundation to build on. Whoever was behind the selection of built-in software and packages definitely made thoughtful choices, it’s clear the platform was designed with scalability in mind.
Sure, feature releases might not always come as fast as we’d like, but the release of v12 was a huge leap. If you want a measure of how solid the new architecture is, just look at how many new cPFence features and modules we were able to roll out immediately after v12 dropped. Docker was a major limiting factor before, and v12 finally lifted that ceiling.
Funny enough, we recently explored porting cPFence to other panels. We even grabbed dev licenses and started the process… but within two days, we decided to scrap it. Other panels just don’t offer the flexibility required to support cPFence’s rich feature set. Enhance, on the other hand, gives us the breathing room to build, test, and ship features quickly.
Do we think our competitors lack the skills to add similar features? Not at all, there are plenty of talented developers behind other security products. But when the underlying panel limits you, there's only so far you can go. With Enhance, we’ve been able to push cPFence further and faster than anywhere else, thanks to its modern, flexible architecture and how easy it makes server management. That ease freed up our team’s time to focus on building new features and expanding beyond just running our hosting business.
