Resizing block storage - Instructions

Hi, I was hoping to resize my block storage but a link ( https://enhance.com/docs/backup-role/resizing-btrfs-volume.html ) referred to in a previous post wasn't on the site.
Has anyone increased the block storage on their backup server, and can you recall the command you need to run to resize the BTRFS storage?

You could send a support ticket and they provide you with a archive of that article if its available.

Also if you could provide more details about your setup, someone in the community may help you.
Like what provider are you using ? Is this a BackUP server ? what version v11/v12 ?

Hi, adil -thanks a lot. It's a v12 Backup server - probably why I can't find it in the docs, possibly a different process.
I've contacted support on a more pressing matter, so I'll wait a while to see if there are any suggestions here before I bother them with this! ☺️

Then :
1- check if its really BTRFS :
sudo mount | grep /backups
If you see type btrfs, you're good.

2- Resize :
sudo btrfs filesystem resize max /backups

adil - I assumed Enhance used BTRFS for its backups but weirdly sudo mount | grep /backups didn't return anything

Can you check where did you mount the volume and its type ?

df -Th

/dev/sda btrfs 256G 222G 32G 88% /mnt/enhance-backup

meditatingsurgeon - I know 256GB is a bit measly!

Oh, you have different mount path, then try with :

sudo btrfs filesystem resize max /mnt/enhance-backup
