I have question, as I have already been asking for few things like to manage web server configurations, and security.
As new user comes and asks what’s better I am seeing at runcloud that they offer two things I’ve been asking here now wonder can I get some estimates dates of this pieces added to enhance?

1- Automate server configuration
With just a few clicks of a button, server configuration is automated with the best configuration (tailored by us, no less!) to handle any traffic, saving you time and trouble.

2- Hassle free SSL/TLS security
RunCloud offers a 1-click installation of free SSL/TLS by Let's Encrypt, or any of your chosen custom provider. Wildcard SSL by Let’s Encrypt is also available if you have multiple subdomains. We also configure your SSL to comply with PCI-DSS, HIPAA, and NIST

I asked for pci dss simple toggle button in Security tab…
I asked for web server/ DB configurations managed by enhance tailored for large or small servers to handle different traffic.

Looking at runcloud they seem like they managing this well.

Can we have this ability in enhance anytime soon,

This doesn't exist. There is no best configuration as anyone with sysadmin experience in this field will tell you.

There is one click SSL for any domain or subdomain added but it would be nice to have wildcard SSL.

JohnB it’s not about ssl it’s about pci dss they seem they do it for you. Sysadmin work but they manage to do it for you as far see…
All it needs is simple configuration looking as php ini directives with couple profiles from enhance themself to tune your servers for different environments like cpu, RAM etc where we can create our own profiles with configuration too into enhance panel UI

I think because its SaaS and it feel like a managed panel rather than self-hosted which you are in control of the config/settings/setup of the cluster.

Also they focus on targeting Agencies that themselves provide managed websites, which this kind of customers need this kind of features.

I am indeed still using RunCloud, but its not for Shared Hosting in my experience with it.

adil can you enable pci dss with a couple clicks really there ?
Question as you are with runcloud, do you get latest version LSE web server when provisioning there or you get as enhance here version 6.0 ?

I only have the 19$ Plan, and it only provide this in the SSL :

If you need advanced options, you will need the 49$ plan, But I don't remember when I tried that plan it has options related to PCI-DSS, maybe they add it after.

They don't support LiteSpeed Enterprise version, they only have the option to use OLS or NGINX.

But for OLS, they just provide it the way Enhance do in v12, directly from apt.
Also for PHP versions, they all seem to be managed from OLS, as per their changelog :

Note: If your server runs on OpenLiteSpeed, RunCloud does not handle PHP version updates. However, once a PHP version update becomes available for OpenLiteSpeed, it should also be automatically available on your server(s).

adil that’s what we need for in security tab the options to select tls ,clippher ,htsts , for any kind web server… and pci dss feature is done.

Runcloud support OLS config persistence. They have done for a long time actually.

Try to make a request feature post and make it more easy to understand for the users in the community, this way you may have more users support/vote for your request to be added in the log/roadmap.

As lot of users don't even understand the whole PCI/DDS thing, including myself 😆 , only know its needed if you process payments or some finance/bank sites/apps hosted on your cluster.

adil I think it’s good to have it on any website kind as it’s adding security policies. Always good to have it.
