Package - Disk space allowance vs Hard Disk

In the package options, there is "Disk space allowance" and "Hard Disk".
Is "Disk space allowance" the total for all websites combined for a single user, and "hard disk" is each individual website for a user?
And, if so, if I set "Disk space allowance" to 30GB and leave "Hard disk" on unlimited, will that stop all disk writes from websites and email for all websites for a single user once their entire account (webmail + email) reaches 30GB?

Or do i have to also set Hard Disk as well?

Disk space allowance is the for all websites on a package and Hard disk
is the total amount of disk space for each website.

If you would like to stop users writing files you will need to add a Hard disk limit. The package Disk space allowance is a soft limit.

If I configure a package with:

Disk space allowance: 1 GB
Hard disk per website: 1 MB

Does this mean that the website itself would be limited to 1 MB, while the remaining space could effectively be used for email?

For example, could a customer have a very small website using 1 MB, but use most of the 1 GB package allowance for their mailboxes?

And in this scenario, does email usage count towards the package's 1 GB disk space allowance?

I'm trying to understand whether these two settings can effectively be used to separate website storage from email storage within the same package.

Hello, I would like an extra clarification on this one.

Let's say I set both of these 2 settings to a 10GB limit on a package that allows up to 2 websites.

From what I understand, if the user creates 2 websites that take a space of 7GBs each, this means that the Hard disk limit won't be triggered and the package will show that the Disk space allowance has been crossed, kinda like 14GB/10GB but the limit won't prevent him from adding new files yet, right?
