This is something i personally expected to work since enhance claims to support the web-server, but they way enhance handles PhP breaks this Feature of Lite-speed, which is a very important one and it will lead to many 503 errors produced by traffic peaks or DoS etc being unresolved when the web server could fix it automatically.
How it Works :
If a website has over 30 503 errors in 30 seconds litespeed will restart PHP trying to fix the issue, this will bring the website back online and if the reason of the issue is something temporary it will fix it before a customer complains, OF COURSE if there is another underlying issue the cycle will repeat again.
This is a major feature when you want to upsell an upgrade to the customer or when customers make mistakes, because their website get back online asap while with the current setup :
Litespeed Can't detect the issue or restart PHP the container remains loaded for longer period, the way to love it is the client manually restarting the PhP container which is counter productive.
I would like to suggest the enhance Team working with Litespeed support to find a way to support this feature, which will benefit both OLS and ELS
