Potential support for Caddy+FrankenPHP

This is arguably far fetched as supporting 5x web servers is not very sustainable or efficient, supporting 4x must already be time consuming. NGINX and Litespeed both work great.

That said, Caddy is objectively fantastic, and so is FrankenPHP. WordPress is really performant.

To be honest I don’t really understand using Apache, as whilst htaccess is nice, Apache is always considered the least performant. OLS doesn’t seem to be getting much love or updates these days. Caddy is inferior to NGINX in many ways, but FrankenPHP seems to outperform PHP FPM.

What does everyone else think?

While Apache offers the lowest performance, it remains the most compatible. Although other web servers are superior in terms of performance, a hosting platform like Enhance simply has to have it 🙂

I believe the current setup already provides a fairly complete set of options, and I don’t think we need additional web servers, we have:
Apache → more compatible (especially for legacy applications), but less performant
Nginx / LS / OLS → better performance, each with its own pros and "cons".
