+1 – Sorting Sites by Server
Not all users intuitively find or use the option to sort websites by server, even though it is currently available in the interface. This does serve as a helpful workaround, but I agree 100% with the original suggestion that it could be made more intuitive or emphasized better in the UI.
Other UI Concerns
- Website List Reverts to 10 Domains (Admin View)
When returning from managing a customer site, the website list resets to just 10 domains.
This is especially frustrating during high-pressure situations like disaster recovery.
Example Scenario:
We recently faced a critical issue requiring manual intervention on a server with 200 websites. After helping each customer (via impersonation), we had to:
• Perform manual DB restores, or
• Manually edit database user privileges.
Each time we returned to the websites list, it reverted to the default 10 entries—forcing unnecessary navigation.
This added significant friction during an already stressful situation.
Shoutout to Adam and Enhance Support: Your help was superb as always—above and beyond.
- Reseller Frustration with DNS Management
We receive regular complaints from resellers regarding DNS record management:
• It requires too many clicks to reach or modify records.
• A “spreadsheet-style” edit mode would drastically improve usability, allowing bulk edits and faster access without having to enter and exit each domain.
- Alias Domain Discovery Could Be Improved
Even after two years of use, locating alias domains can still feel non-intuitive. This should be streamlined or made more prominent in the interface.
Now, I wouldn’t call the UI “really bad” at all—in fact, I find it clean and well-organized overall.
However, the issues above—particularly under stress—definitely highlight areas for improvement.
