Is it possible that email forwarding does not work without a mailbox? I just set one up and the email came back with the following error:
This message was created automatically by mail delivery software.
A message that you sent could not be delivered to one or more of its recipients. This is a permanent error.
The following address failed:
hallo@meinedomain.de:
SMTP error from remote server for RCPT TO command, host: mail.meinedomain.de (168.119.xxx.xx) reason: 554 5.7.1 <hallo@meinedomain.de>: Relay access denied
I used local mail in the domain settings. And the webmailer at mail.meinedomain.de worked normally, so DNS should be fine.
When I convert the forwarding into a mailbox, the email arrives.
