This is a fantastic add by Enhance! Would love to see this extended to the backups tab though. The limitations around backups still makes me miss Jetbackup/cPanel a little bit (not enough to ever go back, though). Namely:
- Ability to download backups from a particular date on the backups page vs only being able to restore
- Ability to restore a backup to a new app/site as opposed to overwriting the existing app (this would theoretically be solved by #1 though since we can now upload backups)
More often than not when I'm working with backups for a client, it isn't necessarily to fully bring back the current site to where it was, but rather to reference something at a given point in time on a staging/preview url. I know we can just just SSH into the backup server, grab the backup there, and do what I'm suggesting manually, but we have less tech-savvy people at the agencies we're working with that would greatly benefit from being able to do this through the UI. This is pretty standard on Cloudways, Runcloud, etc as well.
With that said, Rome wasn't built in a day, and i'm loving the progress with Enhance - I hope to see these kinds of things considered for the future!
