Nginx vs Apache vs OLS vs LSE

So, I made a video testing all the Enhance stacks.

I set up a cloud server with Nginx, ran some tests, then switch to Apache, ran the tests again, and so forth. It's not intended to be scientific or anything, just something that any regular user could do to test how their WordPress website performs on Nginx, Apache, OpenLiteSpeed or LiteSpeed Enterprise.

I used the following WordPress plugins:

WordPress Hosting Benchmark tool
WP Performance Tester
PHP Vitals

Then I used Loader.io for some load impact testing: 250, 1000, and 10000 clients over 1 minute hitting the website.

Thanks for sharing your tests. From what we’ve seen, Nginx usually crushes it when you’re running one or two heavy-hitter sites with serious traffic. But once you stack a shared hosting server or throw 20+ sites on the same box, OLS/LSWS almost always comes out on top, assuming everything’s tuned properly. It’s like a sports car vs a bus: Nginx flies with a couple of passengers, OLS/LSWS keeps the whole crowd moving smoothly. LiteSpeed is also much easier to set up and manage for the average person
