Websites should be containers (baffled with hosting offers)

Hi,

I'd like to ask what kind of configurations are you giving your customers?
My issue is that, since Enhance sets performance limits per website, then it's not possible to offer competitive packages.

Other hosting companies offer for example, 10 websites on a hosting package.

If I offer a package with 10 websites and each website has 1vCPU, 1GB ram etc. then the whole server would be filled with just 2-3 of them.

The obvious solution would be to offer 1 website and additional add-on domains, but its a bit weird to have one website as the main one the the remaining under that? It does not look proper.

I believe that websites should be renamed to containers, and their name should not include a website domain, but either a random name, ID or something similar. Then, inside that package a customer should be able to install websites.

What are your thoughts on this?

I'd like to see some real-world examples on hosting packages based on Enhance, and perhaps even feedback from customers.

They don't do it differently; it's one main and the rest under the main.

That's not 10 websites you describe, it's 10 cPanel accounts, in Enhance it's one account and 10 domains (same can be configured on cPanel or Plesk).

This is "shared" hosting, you can have 100 accounts on a server with 12 vCPU and 64 GB RAM with no problem, and excellent page load speed for each "account".

The best option and profitable for customers and companies, in my humble opinion, is:
1 Reseller -> Start with a small VPS
2 Agencies -> Start with a small VPS
3 High demands -> Start with appropriate resources VPS
4 Shared Hosting -> Start with a VPS that can handle your current needs. If, right now, you are on a Dedicated with 1 CPU and 128 GB RAM + NVMe, having 100 accounts, you can move all of them under the same Dedicated with similar packages.

If you just want to increase profit by cutting down on HW, I'm not sure it will have a super nice outcome.

I believe you should study a bit more about "packages" on Enhance.
