How do I manually delete backup files?

I started a website backup, and my server has added 300GB of content. How do I manually delete the backup?

I see that only 14 backup records are saved in the backend. Each one is a maximum of 3GB. But my VPS has increased by 300GB!

I received an official technical response:
“This wasn't being caused by the backups but by monarx-agent setting extended file attributes inside the container overlayfs directories and duplicating the data.

I edited the monarx config to exclude this directory and removed most of the duplicate data.”

Could someone please provide a detailed analysis for me?

It's probably because of the way backups work, by using rsync via SSH by reading/creating hardlinks for deduplication. If anything messes with that, like overlayfs, it will instead not deduplicate but just duplicate the files for each backup.
