Auto-remove DNS entries on subdomain deletion

When a subdomain or alias is deleted, the system should automatically remove all related DNS records (A, AAAA, CNAME, MX, TXT, etc.) from the main domain’s DNS zone.

At the moment, when a subdomain or alias is deleted, only the A records are removed. All other related records — AAAA, CNAME, MX, TXT, etc. — remain in the main domain’s DNS zone, which can cause leftover entries and potential resolution issues.

It would be important for the removal process to be complete to avoid DNS clutter.

Any update on this?

I'm still seeing this behaviour with the native Enhance DNS.

When deleting a subdomain, the A record is automatically removed, but the AAAA record remains in the DNS zone.

This means that deleted subdomains continue to leave orphaned IPv6 DNS records behind, requiring manual cleanup.

Is this already on the roadmap or being tracked as a bug?
