External PowerDNS (API) Support

For those with large cPanel estates where any migration wants to be done whilst keeping nameservers the same, it would be nice to see support for the PowerDNS API to natively work with Enhance.

I know there are calls which can be made with middleware but this is clunky at best.

At least for us, it'll allow us to move customers over to Enhance, maintain nameservers and allow the user a near seamless switch over of their hosting.

This can be done. We also have a feature request open to allow Enhance to talk to cPanel's DNS API so that it can be integrated into a cPanel DNS cluster for gradual migration.

Although we have our own module that feeds in to the PowerDNS from cPanel. That could work as a temporary measure but we, like many, probably want to remove any connection to cPanel as soon as possible.

Adam I was searching for this, is it released or still planned? (or maybe not anymore? )
We are also interested in keeping for now the DNSOnly servers we have, I think it might take quite a while before we can move out totally from cPanel servers.

gozen This is still a planned feature. No development time has been assigned to this task just yet but when it is you will see it appear on the roadmap.
