S3 Backup retention limits

Does Enhance respect the backup retention settings and auto delete old backups from S3 provider?

Or does that only work with an enhance backup server.

It does respect the retention limits and will remove backups which are older than the max retention.

Adam In Backblaze there was an issue where old backups were not being deleted; in the other providers everything is fine. However, the backups are still not running according to the hourly schedule - despite the settings, they are executed at different times.

Hi everyone! I've always had questions about how backups work with Enhance.

I'd like to do backups with Enhance but also use S3 with Backblaze. I understand that they can't both work at the same time, right?

Sorry to go off-topic a bit, that's not my intention.

They can work side by side. The caveat is that the S3 backups are not incremental and therefore will require vastly more storage and will take much longer to create/restore. Most large clusters use Enhance backups only.
