Litespeed - cache storage path /tmp/ ,cache is not permament

I think the current LiteSpeed configuration for “Cache Storage Path” is incorrect.
Virtual Hosts > website > Cache > Cache Storage Settings > Storage Path

Currently, this is the tmp folder for each site, which is not permanent in Linux and is cleared after the server is restarted.
Example:
/tmp/lscache_4a513315-e26e-4033-93fd-b4399003866a

I don't think that's a good practice. I would like my website cache to always have the highest possible cache hit ratio and be permanent.

Is it possible to change the default location to save the cache on the disk in a permanent folder? So that the cache is not cleared after restarting the server?
Example:
/var/cache/litespeed/lscache_4a513315-e26e-4033-93fd-b4399003866a

AdamM Cache shouldn't be within the customer directory so it is charged to the client and limmited by package limmits?

We can maybe make this a configurable setting in the future.

Adam realistically is there even a point to having access to litespeed control panel itself if most of it doesn’t actually apply or change anything?

You can change almost anything on commercial Litespeed and it will persist. With Openlitespeed no changes will persist.
